Sticky Widgets and Siri, Sitting in a Tree

With iOS 27, Siri has gotten a lot smarter, and Sticky Widgets has gotten smarter alongside it. Siri can now tap into apps to create and retrieve content, and I’ve updated Sticky Widgets to take advantage of those new capabilities.

You can use Siri to create new notes, modify existing ones, and search for them. You can also find your notes through Spotlight and jump straight into them.

Sticky Widgets has always been focused on quickly jotting down notes and displaying them where you’ll see them. With iOS 27’s Siri integrations, that gets even easier.

Inside the app, the new “Ask your notes” feature lets you ask questions about the information you’ve saved in Sticky Widgets. It uses Apple Intelligence to find answers in your notes, with the processing happening on your device. This feature requires iOS 27 and a supported device with Apple Intelligence enabled.

There are a handful of other additions, too. A new extra-large portrait widget gives your notes more room on supported iOS 27 devices. I’ve also improved the font selector so you can preview each typeface before choosing it, added swipe actions to rename and archive notes, and made editing and saving more reliable.

All that to say, the latest Sticky Widgets update is a substantial upgrade, with more ways to create, find, and use your notes. I hope you find it useful.
